Dissolved oxygen is the measurement of the amount of oxygen dissolved in an aqueous solution. Using the principle of polarographic measurement, the solubility value depends on the temperature, pressure, and salinity of the aqueous solution. The instrument adopts LCD display for measuring and displaying DO value and medium temperature value, with analog signal and digital signal output as well as control function. Dissolved oxygen (DO) is an indicator for evaluating the self purification capacity of water bodies. A high dissolved oxygen content indicates a strong self purification ability of the water body; On the contrary, it means that pollutants in the water are not easily oxidized and decomposed, and anaerobic bacteria will multiply in large numbers, causing the water quality to become foul smelling.
